The 3 types of responses to my progress on public message boards.

I’m in a big hurry this morning and running late, so I’m going to go get my crunches and cardio done right away. I’m still running behind responding to my emails, sorry! It’s been a crazy week so far…

I’m going leave what I wrote yesterday up for another day since it’s worth repeating… well, that, plus I don’t have time to come up with anything new this morning! 😉

When someone posts a link to this page on a public message board, I always see 3 types of replies:

  • Some people are inspired. They see my page and think, “If he can do that, I can do that too!” They are right, of course! Those are the people who are probably going to do very well in life, simply because they understand that hard work can accomplish anything.
  • Some people don’t believe it. Many of them just insult me or make excuses like “he used drugs” or “he faked his images”. On one hand I love those comments the best, because I know what I accomplished and documented here is 100% truthful. So those types of comments are actually very complementary. They are saying “you did the impossible!” On the other hand, those comments are sad, because what I did is not impossible, but those people will never know because they are too scared or too lazy to try for themselves. I would hate to go through life with that kind of attitude. It’s very limiting. If you are one of those people, please read my Frequently Asked Questions page and start believing in yourself. You can do amazing things when you put your heart into it.
  • Then you have the body builders who think I’m too skinny. I don’t understand these kinds of comments, or why they care so much about the way I look. Everyone has different goals and body types. I don’t want to look like a huge bodybuilder – I don’t like that look. I much prefer a lean, muscular physique. All of this is explained in my FAQ. Meatheads, get someone to read it to you and/or help with the big words. Just kidding, relax. 🙂
