Yesterday’s workout was really tough! My ab workouts always hurt, but yesterday’s ab workout was especially painful. Today my abs are more sore than they’ve been in a long time. Also, yesterday when doing my HIIT cardio workout my heart rate was higher than normal and it took longer for it to go down during my recovery intervals. It’s amazing that just one week off has had such a pronounced effect on my performance. I’m sure by the end of the week I’ll be back to where I was, but I have a feeling I’m going to be very sore this week. Today I’ll be working my back and biceps, Thursday is leg day and Saturday I’ll hit my delts, pecs and triceps. By Sunday I won’t be able to move too quickly. 🙂

I’m going to get started on my workout now, see you tomorrow…..
