Upper body workouts are back on?!

I’m glad the work week is drawing to a close. It’s been one hell of a first week back from vacation. I’m looking forward to my weekly cheat meal tonight – I think I’ve earned it!

I worked my upper body twice this past week and, because my shoulder has not fully recovered from the rotator cuff tear, I had mentioned that I was planning to rest it for a week, skipping Saturday’s pec/delt/tricep workout and Tuesday’s back/bicep workout. My shoulder feels so good this morning that I’m strongly reconsidering that notion. If it feels this good tomorrow morning, I’m going to go ahead with my Saturday workout. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I’m finally able to workout my upper body again, even if I can’t go as heavy as I’d like to. The last couple of months have been really tough to deal with.

I’ve got to go get my workout in and get to work. Have a good day, see you this weekend.
