Leg day; The many benefits of weight training.

My pager was silent all night long, so I had a restful night’s sleep last night for the first time this week. I’m going to need the energy because today’s leg day! My lower body workout is easily my most grueling. By the time I finish my lunges, which are the next-to-last exercise that I do, I can barely stand up. It’s important to make all of your weight training workouts extremely intense. When you finish your workout, you should feel absolutely drained. I put every ounce of energy I have into my weight training workouts, and I always push myself to do better than I did the week before. I’ve noticed that the same drive that I’ve developed in the gym has bled over into other areas of my life. I truly believe that weight training has benefits that go far beyond muscle development.

OK, I’ve managed to get myself pretty motivated! Time to “shut up and squat!” Have a great day and, as always, I’ll see you all later on the forums.
