Ice for shoulder; Post-workout forearm cramps.

I had another excellent workout yesterday (back/biceps/traps) and my shoulder feels really good this morning. I’ve found that an ice pack applied to my shoulder for about 10-15 minutes immediately following my workout seems to help a lot.

I don’t think I’ll ever have to directly work my forearms: they always get a great workout when I’m doing my bicep exercises. Yesterday, about an hour after my workout, I felt my forearms cramping up – bad! If I even started to flex, or if I picked up something (even something light) I had to stop because I’d immediately feel the painful “clamping” sensation that we feel just before our muscles lock into a cramp. After a few hours it went away and now I’m just really sore in all the areas I worked yesterday.

I have a long workout to get done, so I’d better get started. Today it’s abs and 50 minutes on the elliptical. See ya!
