I ate a lot yesterday; Added a new recipe – Mom’s Turkey Soup!

I hope my fellow Americans had a fantastic Thanksgiving day! Thanksgiving is the one day I don’t worry about what I’m eating – and eat is what I did! I had lots of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, green beans, sweet potatoes, biscuits, apple pie, pumpkin pie, whipped cream, cheese and crackers. Notice that I did not say “wine”. I was sticking to my decision to not drink any alcohol for the remainder of my bulk. I have to admit, it was difficult because everyone else was enjoying wine with their cheese & crackers and with dinner. I had… water. My reward is, aside from feeling a little bloated, I feel great this morning!

Baring an emergency at work, I’m off today! I’m going to go do my workout and then work on making a turkey soup using my Mom’s awesome homemade turkey soup recipe, which I’ve just added to the recipe section of this site.
