This morning’s pecs/delts/triceps workout.

I managed to get a solid 8.5 hours of sleep on Thursday and Friday, and this morning I’m feeling strong and rested. I’ll need all the help I can get for this morning’s workout, because it’s going to be a very tough one. The past two pecs/delts/triceps workouts have been amazing – I’ve increased the amount of weight and the number of reps on every single exercise. I want to continue that trend this morning, but it’s not going to be easy; Last week I benched for reps (3 sets, 8/8/7 reps) using the same weight that I used for my previous lifetime best 1-rep max. Today I intend to increase that weight past my old 1-rep max and do 3 sets of at least 6 reps.

My shoulders? They both feel great! I have no pain whatsoever in either shoulder right now. In fact, my shoulders have actually improved considerably since I’ve been lifting very heavy weights and passing my personal bests. Don’t ask me how that is, because I have no idea. It’s a great feeling to finally be able to slide under a bar full of iron plates and focus only on the lift and to not have to worry about pain or my shoulder blowing out.

I’m going to try and get some pictures after my workout. If I do, I’ll post them in my Picture Gallery and Video Archive thread on the forum (free registration required). I may post a few shots in the pictures archives on this site, as well.

Time to get started. I’d say wish me luck, but luck’s got absolutely nothing to do with it.
