I’m giving some thought to ending my bulking program on January 5, 2005 and starting my cutting cycle on January 6, 2005. Four and half months is a long time to bulk for an old man like me, especially when doing a heavy & intense weight training program like MAX-OT. I expect to reach my last remaining goal of sixteen inch arms within the next week or two, so by January 5th I will have reached or exceeded all my bulking goals. I also can’t ignore that January 6th has, historically speaking, proven to be a very good day for me to start cutting 😉 . I want to do a very slow cutting cycle this time around. You won’t see any dramatic weight drops this time, because I don’t have all that much fat to lose. Even if I officially end my bulk on January 5th, I’ll probably not cut my calories more than a couple hundred per day for the first few weeks. I want to cut very slowly so that I can preserve as much lean mass as possible. I’ll be working on my cutting plan in the weeks to come and will post it here when I’ve settled on what I’m going to do and when I’m going to do it. Rest assured that my cutting plan will be considerably different than what I did two years ago.

Jeremy Likness is running an incredible special on his Become The Journey e-Book package! For a very limited time he’s knocked $10.00 off the regular price of $39.00. Hurry – you’ve only got until Sunday to get in on this deal for just $29.00. Also, be sure to check out the special Jeremy’s running on his entire digital library! For more information or to order, just visit the Become The Journey web site.

It’s leg day and I’m running late! I slept in until 7:00 AM this morning, which is very unusual for me. I guess I needed the rest. Have a great day!
