Trying to shake off a cold.

So far I’ve been able to avoid getting sick this winter, but yesterday morning I felt like I might have a cold coming on. I went ahead and did my pecs/delts/triceps workout anyway, and by the end of my workout I seriously thought I was going to puke. Have you ever choked down an unflavored hydrolyzed whey protein shake when you already felt as if you could hurl at any moment? Let me tell ya, it was not pleasant. After I forced the shake down, I let my stomach chill for about 30 minutes and had my normal breakfast. The problem seems to be mostly sinus-related; my sinuses are a little stuffed up this morning and I definitely don’t feel 100%. I’m going to go ahead and do my cardio workout this morning, and I’ll evaluate how I feel again tomorrow; I may push off tomorrow’s weight training workout until Thursday if things have not improved.

Well, I’d better get moving. Cold or not, I have a lot of work to get done today. Have a good Monday!
