Moving my strength training workout time permanently.

Yesterday I performed my strength training workout just before noon instead of my normal 8:00 AM workout time. It was an excellent workout! I felt much stronger and far more energetic than usual. I’ve always done all my workouts first thing in the morning with good results, but I would never have much of a meal beforehand because I knew it would just wind up on the floor. I’d usually just have a small bowl of cereal and a couple pieces of toast, or nothing at all. That’s not a lot of food to fuel an intense workout, and I always knew that what I was doing was not optimal. From now on I’m going to do my strength training workouts mid-day instead of first thing in the morning. Schedule-wise it’s going to be more difficult for me to train at this new time, but I’ll work it out.

I’m taking the day off from everything – I need it!
