First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day! I know I wouldn’t be half the person I am today with out the love and support of my wonderful mom, so thanks for everything, mom! I wish I was in Texas to spend the day with you. I love you.
Well, I blew my cutting diet badly yesterday. Things started off well with a healthy breakfast, but I found myself out and about and craving a hamburger, of all things. I decided to grab a Backyard Burger, because I’ve heard great things about them. Yep, it was incredibly good! Had fries, too. As long as I’m coming clean, I might as well mention that I washed it down with a chocolate shake. Oh, it gets worse. I missed my afternoon meal, and then cooked a frozen pizza for dinner. Obviously a day of eating like that is a rarity for me, so I just relaxed and enjoyed it for what it was.
I’ve done something to my ankle. It’s hurting pretty bad this morning and it’s very swollen. I have no idea what I did to it. I can’t do cardio – heck, I can barely walk on it! I’m going to try and stay off of it today and hope the swelling/pain goes down. If not, I’m going to go see the doctor about it next week.
I’m going to go eat and then get off my ankle. This will be the first day I’ve relaxed and not worked or done projects around the house in over a month. Maybe my body is telling me to chill out a little!
