That rib I hurt a few weeks ago seems to be just fine now. I had a pretty intense ab workout yesterday and the rib didn’t bother me at all. I’m a little disappointed in myself: I thought I worked out with enough intensity to at least crack the darn thing. I’ll have to try harder next time. 😉
I bought a new piece of cardio equipment this week. Lisa wanted a recumbent bike for her Birthday (and I wouldn’t mind having something to alternate with my elliptical workouts), so I got her (us) the Fitness Quest Excel 396r. It’s nothing fancy, but a step up from the cardio equipment dreck I usually buy. We don’t need any pre-designed workouts or over-the-top digital displays: just a solid frame, magnetic resistance and a basic time/distance/speed readout. I’ll let you all know what I think of it after I get it together and do a few workouts on it.
It’s leg day. My leg workouts are very tough, but also very satisfying. I’m feeling good this morning, so it should be an excellent workout.
