Yesterday’s delt workout; New pictures; Euphoria.

I’m pleased (and relieved) to report that my shoulder held up just fine for yesterday’s delt and traps workout. There’s a little pain this morning, but I’d say it’s only 10% of what I was feeling last week. I guess I just strained it.

As for yesterday’s workout, my shoulder felt so good after the first set that I decided to forgo the planned reduced weight “test” workout and use normal, heavy weights. It was an excellent workout, and, as you can tell from yesterday’s ecstatic post-workout journal entry I was just a wee bit amped up when it was over. I took a couple of new pictures, too. Tonight I’m going to hit my biceps and triceps. Because I superset those two body parts, it’s probably my most intense and unforgiving workout. It also happens to be my favorite workout. I’m sure I’ll be posting another over-the-top journal entry tonight, ranting and raving as I revel in my euphoric post-workout buzz. As a former chronic pot smoker, I can honesty tell you that the buzz I used to get from weed and other drugs does not even approach the feeling I get after a great weight training work out.
