I had a great delts/traps workout last night! I went up in weight and/or reps on every exercise, and didn’t feel any shoulder pain at all. Lisa was still baking while I was lifting, so I had to lift to Christmas music. It didn’t seem to affect my workout.

After my workout Lisa and I decided to watch a Christmas movie we’d never see before, “Christmas with the Kranks”. We both sat in stunned silence as we watched what is possibly the worst, most unfunny, least imaginative film ever greenlit unfold before us. Considering many of the films coming out of Hollywood these days, that’s not a statement to be taken lightly. I’ve seen “straight to video” films that are light-years ahead of this one. 30 minutes into it, and we had to turn it off – we were actually in real, physical pain. Folks, I watch a lot of film, and I’ve seen some real turkeys over the years; however, I can count on one hand the number of films I have walked out of or couldn’t finish watching. “Christmas with the Kranks” is an abomination. If you watch it, it will actually suck the Christmas spirit out of you. It made me grumpy. I actually had nightmares last night. Every person involved with this project should fire their agent. The director, Joe Roth (who also brought us such gems as “Revenge Of The Nerds 2”), should never be allowed to direct again. In fact, when Joe goes to hell (he now has a confirmed ticket) he should be forced to watch “Kranks” for all eternity. If you see this DVD, destroy it on sight. This film sucks on every conceivable level. It’s absolute crap. I still feel like I have not properly conveyed just how bad this film is, but I have to stop talking about it before I ruin my Christmas.

That was cathartic! I feel better now. I’m off to give Lisa and the dogs their presents and get started cooking. Merry Christmas – have a wonderful day!
