I’m eating a ton of food, but my weight gain seems to be leveling off. I’ve been upping my calories to unheard of levels (for me) over the past two weeks, but I think my body is finally tapping out and screaming “mercy!” I guess I have gained a lot of weight over a relatively short period of time, and I think my choice to bulk for 3 months was just about right. I start cutting on Wednesday, and I can’t wait! I know I added a good amount of muscle this winter, and I’m very anxious to strip away the fat and see how it looks. I’ll update my page on Wednesday to reflect my cutting goals, and I’ll also take my monthly pictures on that day. I’m looking fairly pudgy around my mid-section and in my face! Between the water and the fat, I suspect I’m going to need to lose around 20 pounds to get back to 8% body fat. Of course this is just an estimate: 3-point body fat measurements using calipers are just that – estimates.
