Cutting FUN?!; Giving in to temptation.

A lot of people find cutting (fat loss) boring and tedious. I’m not one of those people. When our fat loss diets and training regimens are both in order, hard work and dedication is rewarded relatively quickly. I find it very gratifying and extremely motivating when I start to see visible results in the mirror and with the tape. These small (but frequent) improvements keep my motivation high, and make the sacrifices well worth it.

Sure, I have food cravings just like everyone else does, and sometimes I don’t feel like doing my cardio; however, watching my body improve is infinitely more satisfying than any food I’ve ever eaten. When temptation is gnawing at me, I try to think about how lousy I’ll feel the next morning if I were to give in: bloated, further from my goal and disappointment in my lack of self-control. Waking up in the morning after a day of clean eating and exercise is very rewarding. I love waking up knowing that the day before I did everything “right”. It’s a great feeling, because there are A LOT of temptations out there, and succumbing to those temptations is very, very easy. These temptations are what separates those who want health and a good body from those who actually have them.
