Good workout despite thumb pain; New pictures; Cutting progress.

Despite my painfully smashed thumb, I was able to perform last night’s chest and abs workout. I had to switch my exercises around a bit, but other than that it was business as usual. You can check out last night’s post-workout log along with a couple of new pictures right here.

Tonight’s workout is back and delts. I should be able to do everything I normally do, with the possible exception of deads. I’ll try to do the deads with lifting straps, but even with the straps the pressure on my thumb still might be too great.

Wednesday I don’t train, and Thursday is leg day, so hopefully by Friday my thumb will be feeling good enough to do my delt and arm workout. It’s actually feeling a little less stiff this morning – a very good sign!

I’m down to 207 pounds this morning, and have lost another quarter inch off my waist. I’m right around 10% body fat now, probably another pound of fat loss will put me firmly in 10% territory. As I continue to diet down to 8% body fat and below, my abs are going to really start popping out. By the end of April I should have a very nice, deeply etched six-pack. It’s going to be a long, fun summer… 🙂
