I’ve been lazy, and I’m taking full responsibility for it. No excuses.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I did, but today I’m looking forward to weight training and getting my diet back on track.

I’m surprised by my lack of willpower over the past couple of weeks. Maybe I just needed a break, I dunno. Over the past two weeks I’ve skipped some workouts and had cheat meals for dinner like 3 nights per week. My life has been very busy lately, but that’s not a good excuse. To be completely honest there has not a single time I missed a workout or ate poor food choices that didn’t boil down to laziness or giving in to cravings. Time was not an issue.

While I’ve only been slacking a couple weeks, I can already see and feel the difference. Today all that stops. I feel miserable right now, and the simple reason why is because I love working out and eating right, and I have not been doing that with consistency lately.

I think most of you can relate to what I’m talking about. We’re all human, and no one is perfect. I’m very self-aware, and I try to be honest with myself and not sugarcoat things. When you recognize that there is a problem, the worst thing you can do is ignore it. Today I’m taking full responsibility for my laziness and I’m getting back on track before things get out of hand.
