Back on track and feeling great!

It felt great to get my diet and training back on track yesterday. My diet was spot-on, and my workout (back & biceps) was awesome. I think some of the irritation I was feeling towards myself for slacking off the past couple of weeks came out in the gym yesterday – it was one of my best workouts in recent memory.

This morning I’m feeling like myself again: I’m positive and energetic, and I’m sore! I also dropped 2 pounds of water weight since yesterday morning, so I’m feeling less bloated and puffy. Junk food always makes my face look puffy, even at low body fat.

Today is a cardio day, and I’m going to do 18 minutes of HIIT cardio this afternoon. I want to get my heart rate above 190 and really work up a good sweat. I’m also going to do HIIT cardio again on Thursday, and will make Saturday morning’s cardio my only LISS session of the week.
