Awesome Thanksgiving feast; Leg day!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration yesterday! We had a lot of fun cooking and hanging out together, and all the food came out just right. I didn’t over-eat, but I was definitely pretty full by the time we finished dessert. There is a lot of stuff in the fridge right now that I won’t be eating: leftover mashed potatoes, stuffing, pies and cranberries… Basically I told Lisa to share anything she wants, but to please leave me the white meat from the turkey. That’s pretty much all I’ll be eating for next few days, and it will be a nice change from the chicken breasts I normally eat.

Yesterday was this week’s “cheat” meal, so I won’t be having a cheat meal this weekend. I may have to sneak a turkey sandwich in, though. I don’t think a couple slices of whole grain bread will kill me. 🙂

I’m off from work today, but not from training: today is leg day. With all the food I ate yesterday I should have plenty of energy for a fantastic workout. In fact, I’m pretty anxious to get in the gym. I feel bloated right now and I want to work up a sweat and get my heart pumping.

Other than my workout I don’t have much going on today. I think I’m going to straighten up the house and watch some DVDs with the dogs (poor Lisa had to work today).
