Good, but not great, workout; I’m out of shape, picture.

Yesterday’s workout was good, but not great. I shortened my rest intervals, and that certainly had an effect on the number of reps I was able to do. I was going for maximum intensity, and to that end it was a very solid performance. I think more than anything else I’m having trouble accepting how much size and strength I lost over my extended moving break, and that my body fat is higher than I’d like. What I’m trying to keep in mind is that I’ve only been back less than three weeks, and with consistency and hard work I will return to form. I do look and feel very out of shape right now (here’s a picture I took last night), so I certainly have a lot of motivation to stay on track…

It’s already leg day again?! Man, I feel like I just recovered from last week’s leg workout. The forecast is calling for rain, but hopefully I’ll still be able to go out back and do my walking lunges again – I really enjoyed those last week!
