Working out early today; About another month of cutting, I think.

I made up my missed back/biceps workout yesterday, and today I’ll be doing my chest/triceps workout. I think I’m going to do my workout early today – between meal #1 and meal #2. This will require me to shift my meals around a bit so that my three carbohydrate meals are still centered around my workout, but that’s no big deal. I’m hopeful that my strength levels have improved over last week’s chest/triceps workout, which was my first workout coming off the back injury and the cold I picked up. I think last week I was still weak from fighting off the cold, and I believe that is a large part of why my strength levels were off. I feel good this morning, and I’m looking forward to a solid workout.

It feels great to be back in the swing of things again, and on track to complete this cut. I’m still right around 8% body fat, but I think with a solid effort I should have no trouble reaching my goal of 6% body fat by the end of July. I’ll probably maintain that level of body fat until the JSF cruise, but I suspect I’ll add a percentage or two while on the cruise. On the cruise there will only be two rules: no dietary restrictions and no working out. 🙂

I’d better go get breakfast going and get the gym staged for my workout while I have time; it looks like I’ve got another very busy work day ahead of me…
