Weekly measurements.

This past week has been extremely good from a diet and training perspective: All my weight training workouts were solid efforts, and my diet was spot-on. Let’s look at this week’s numbers…

My scale weight only dropped about a half a pound this week. This morning I weighed in at 183.0 pounds, down from last Sunday’s 183.6 pounds.

My tape measurements (as measured by the MyoTape) also didn’t show much change. My hip and thigh measurements are each down a quarter-inch, by my waist measurement is still at 30.5 inches. All other measurements are the same as last week.

Finally, my body fat measurement this morning is 8.0% (as measured by the Fat Track PRO Digital Body Fat Calipers). That’s essentially the same as last week’s reading of 8.1%.

Well, despite a week of perfect adherence to my diet and training, those are pretty underwhelming results. I’m not doing much cardio at all right now, so I’ve got plenty of room to move there, and I may need to adjust my diet again.
