Fun weekend; Cardio resumes this week; 2008 bulk starting date thoughts.

Yesterday was an absolute blast! I enjoyed my cheat snack and dinner a great deal: I had buttered popcorn, a small bag of M&Ms and a coke while we watched the movie, and for dinner I had a grilled cheeseburger with some kettle chips on the side. Everyone had a lot of fun, and was really wowed by the new theater. We’re going to do it again next Sunday, which is Lisa’s birthday. I think I’m going to make steaks for dinner next weekend, though.

I’m allowed to resume cardio as of today. I’m going to do three 45-minute fasted LISS cardio sessions this week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. A week from today I’ll finally be able to resume weight training. Even though I ended my formal cut, starting next Monday I will be following the same training split that I used for my last cutting cycle, and my diet will be the same as well.

I have not settled on a start date for my next bulk, but I am giving it some thought. I probably won’t decide until after the JSF Cruise in August, but right now I’m leaning towards a three month bulk starting on October 1st. Like many of you, I like starting my cuts in January, so an October 1st bulking start date would work out well in that respect.

Next month’s “100 Challenge” is open for entry! Details are immediately below…
