Really sore; Cravings last night.

I’m glad I don’t have to train for a couple of days because my body needs a break. I’ve been pushing myself very hard in the gym these past couple of weeks, and I sure am feeling the effects. That’s not a complaint – I love muscle soreness. My aching muscles serve as a constant reminder that I’m on a mission and that I’m making progress towards my goal.

I have to admit I was having some cravings last night. Some of my friends on Facebook were talking about their Friday evening meals (everything from pizza to stuffed jalapenos). Reading these posts had my mouth watering and my stomach growling. Of course I never even consider going off my planned diet, but the desire for some junk food was certainly there. This morning I woke up feeling fantastic because I know reaching my goal is a foregone conclusion. At this point I’m unstoppable.

I’m not really sure what I’m going to do today. I’ve got to go get a haircut this morning, but after that I’m more or less free. I like that feeling!
