Happy New Year, everyone! I believe that with hard work anything is possible. Are you prepared to put in the effort? I know I am! I’m very excited about the New Year, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make 2010 awesome. It is my sincere hope that 2010 is a truly special year for each and every one of you.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration and practical advice this morning, look no further than this month’s Transformation Spotlight, forum member “dejavued”. Deja’s physical and strength transformation are only the beginning of her fantastic story. She managed to change her life in just about every way imaginable, and she did it without giving up the things she loves. One of the things I like best about Deja is there is no lying in her. Read on for a no-nonsense interview in which Deja dispenses what I believe is some of the best practical, real-world advice you’ll ever read about making a transformation.

If you want to lose weight, increase your strength, build muscle or undergo a complete body recomp and don’t know where to begin, then start off by reading these primers in the beginner’s forum. I encourage everyone to get involved on the forums. It’s a wonderful community of people of all experience levels. Beginners are always welcomed with open arms, and you will never be made fun of or ridiculed on JSF. Please take a minute to create an account; it’s fast, easy and 100% FREE.

If you want to work one-on-one with a personal trainer who can design a complete custom diet and training program just for you, you’re in luck because forum sponsor Aram “Mastover” Hamparian is holding a 15% off sale during the entire month of January! More details on the sale can be found here. I’ve worked with Aram several times now, and he is absolutely fantastic. I give his services my highest personal recommendation.

Well, I’d better sign off for the day. Lisa’s parents spent the night and today we’re going to hang out and watch movies on this rainy New Year’s day. All my best for 2010!
