Yesterday’s workout: weak, no energy. Must eat. Crash footage w/ commentary.
I managed to complete yesterday’s chest/triceps/delts “core” workout, but it was far from a good training session. Thankfully I experienced no wrist or shoulder pain, and the wounds in and around my mouth did not bleed at all. The problem was my complete lack of energy and strength. I’m still feeling pretty banged up, and I’m sure most of my body’s resources are going towards healing my various injuries. I think the biggest problem, however, is my diet. I’ve been eating 100% clean, but ever since the accident on Sunday I’ve been under eating because it’s painful to chew, and food (even shakes) just isn’t very appetizing. I’m embarrassed to report that my daily caloric intake this week has ranged from just 1,300 to 1,600 calories. And Sunday, the day of the accident, I only ate around 1,000 calories. So it’s no wonder I’m feeling weak. My body is trying to heal, and I’m doing a terrible job of providing it with raw materials. I need to force myself to eat today, even if it’s just protein, oats and peanut butter shakes.
So last night I edited the video footage of Sunday’s accident, and what happened after the crash. I was not able to recover the original audio, so instead I created a commentary track. Some of Lisa’s reactions, while certainly understandable at the time, are in retrospect pretty damn awesome. You can watch the video below, or click on this link for a larger, Hi-Def version. You may need to turn your sound up, as the recording volume of my commentary was a bit low.
