As always, the first day of the month is a very busy one for me, and today is no exception. In fact, this is an especially busy morning because I’m dealing with a pretty major network outage at work. I have very little time, and a lot to cover so I’m going to get right to it!

I’m very happy to report that we will be launching the JSF BodyShop™ closed beta program within the next day or two! Matt and I had a very long meeting Sunday morning, and we went over the entire site with a fine-toothed comb. The end result was a VERY short final punch list, and those items were all addressed yesterday. We are assembling the beta package materials, and preparing the JSF BodyShop support forums for the beta testers. If you are a Bronze or higher JSF supporting member, keep your eyes peeled for the closed beta invite package, which will be sent to your registered email address. It is very important that you read the entire email and the BodyShop support sticky threads (links will be provided in the beta invite package) so that you understand the proper bug reporting and feature suggestion procedures. By the way, if you choose to upgrade your membership to Bronze or higher at any point during the closed beta, you will automatically receive a JSF BodyShop™ beta invite package.

Speaking of BodyShop, check out my signature in this post I made to the BodyShop information thread. As you can see, we’ve created progress banners that you can add to your web site, forum signature and pretty much anywhere else you like. There are three different styles to choose from, and all the data and goals shown on the banners are automatically updated whenever you update your goals or data on BodyShop. These banners are a great way to show everyone your goals and the progress you’ve made towards reaching those goals!

For the February 2010 Transformation Spotlight of the Month I’ve selected long-time forum member Mastover. Most of you already know who Mastover is, but there’s a lot you probably don’t know about him. I selected Mastover for this month’s TSM because he leads by example, doesn’t make excuses and reaches his goals through sheer force of will. Throughout his life Mastover has overcome drug and alcohol addiction and homelessness; he’s battled cancer and immune system disease; he’s been stabbed and left for dead… the list goes on. Mastover has plowed his way through a lifetime of setbacks and obstacles. He takes responsibility for his own actions, and he never feels sorry for himself. He also spends a great deal of his time helping others improve their lives, and that is something I admire about him a great deal. I think you’ll enjoy this very special interview.
