Week #10 of my 2010 cut is in the books. Let’s look at the data and see how I did this week…

My scale weight this morning is 188.6 pounds, and that means I’ve lost 1.0 pound over the past week, and a total of 17.8 pounds since the start of my cut. The fat comes off a little slower as you close in on single-digit body fat percentages, so this is fine progress.

My body fat reading this morning is 10.4% (as measured by the Fat Track PRO Digital Body Fat Calipers). That’s a .4% drop from last week’s reading of 10.8%, and a 5.1% drop from my 2010 cut starting body fat percentage of 15.5%.

Over the past week I’ve lost .87 pounds of fat and .13 pounds of lean mass. I’m very happy with that.

My total losses since the start of my cut now stand at 12.38 pounds of fat, and 5.42 pounds of lean mass.

My tape measurements (as measured by the MyoTape) are as follows: this past week I lost a quarter-inch from my waist, a quarter-inch from my hips and quarter-inch from my thighs. All the rest of my measurements remained the same. My 2010 cut total measurement changes now come to a total of 3.25 inches off my waist, 2.5 inches from my hips, 1.75 inches from my thighs and a half-inch from my chest.

I figure I’ve got about 4-5 more weeks of cutting before I reach my goal of 8% body fat. At this point I’m totally in the groove, and so another month of dieting is not going to be a problem at all. That said, I’m looking forward to finishing this up and having some theater popcorn for the first time in many months!

Spring is here, and Lisa and I have a huge amount of work to do in the yard. This winter was pretty brutal (for Florida), and there is a large amount of trimming, mulching and fertilizing to be done. There’s no way were going to get it all done today, but I hope we can make a nice dent.

Hey are you guys proud of me for not whining about the time change for once? It wasn’t easy….
