Yesterday we successfully launched the all-new JSF BodyShop™ web site to the general public. If you missed yesterday’s blog update, please go give it a quick read. There’s lots of great information on how you can get started using JSF BodyShop™ to set goals, track your progress, log your diet and training, interact and ultimately reach your fitness goals! We’re happy to provide BodyShop to everyone 100% free of charge! All the “premium features” (plus much more) that you have to pay for on most other similar sites are included right from the start. There’s nothing to buy, no hidden charges and no catch – just join and start making your fitness goals a reality!

Remember, if you are an existing JSF Forum member you should NOT create a new account on BodyShop; your forum username has already been reserved for you! Simply log in to BodyShop (http://www.jsfbodyshop.com) using your existing forum username and password. If you’ve lost your forum password, you can reset it here. If you don’t have an existing JSF Forum account, you can create a new account on BodyShop (this will also create an account on the forums for you with your BodyShop username and password).

I want to thank everyone for making the JSF BodyShop™ launch day such a huge success. It’s only been 24 hours since the launch, and already hundreds upon hundreds of you have created accounts and are actively using the new site! When I started John Stone Fitness back in 2003, the initial aim was to hold myself publicly accountable while I made a huge life change. I was successful in doing that, but after reaching my goal I wanted to continue to blog and help others reach their goals. The JSF Forums were born in 2004, and a natural extension to the main site. I believe JSF BodyShop™ will prove to be another very powerful tool that will make a very real difference in people’s lives.

I want to take a moment to thank Matt Drouillard, lead developer of the BodyShop software. Over the past year Matt has literally put thousands of hours into this project, and no matter how tough things seemed (this project was obviously monumental in scope), his resolve never wavered. His dedication and creativity have produced something very special. From all of us, thank you, Matt!

I know some of you have been patiently waiting to access my food logs for this cut. Now that BodyShop has been launched, my food logs are freely accessible but you’ll need a BodyShop account. Again, if you already have an account on the JSF forums then your account on BodyShop has already been created for you. Simply log in to BodyShop using your forum username and password. If you don’t have a JSF Forum account, you’ll need to create a BodyShop account here. Registration is fast and easy, and BodyShop is 100% free of charge. Once you log in, just search for my name and you’ll find my complete food logs under “Food & Sleep”. Feel free to add me as a buddy so all my updates will appear in your live news feed.

I also want to remind everyone about the monthly BodyShop prize draws we’ll be holding! The first prize draw is sponsored by AtLarge Nutrition, and will be held on May 31, 2010 (we’re giving everyone a little extra time to accumulate BodyShop Points for the first prize drawing). To see the awesome prize package the winner will receive and get registered, check out this page (BodyShop account required). To qualify for this drawing, all you need to do is accumulate 250 BodyShop Points and refer at least 1 person to the site. Earning BodyShop Points is as simple as using the site! Every time you add a food log, post a status update, add a training log and most other activities you earn BodyShop Points. You can see how many points you’ve earned from your main portal page under the “Information” section. Click the Question Mark icon to the right of the points display to see a detailed view. To earn referral credits just tell all your friends about BodyShop, and make sure that when they create an account that they specify your username or email address as the person who referred them. That’s all there is to it!
