I took my weekly measurements and body fat reading this morning. My weight is almost identical to my weight at the end of my cut (down .2 pounds), my measurements are all exactly the same as they were at the end of my cut, and my body fat reading was 7% on the nose. Looks like I’m doing a great job of maintaining. The nice thing is I’ve been enjoying a couple of splurge meals every week and also popcorn once or twice per week. Now that I’m adding new healthy meals to my regular diet, I really feel like I’ve hit on a very sustainable maintenance formula. All the hard work and dedication I put in during my 17 week cut was totally worth it. It feels great to relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
So last night I made the old family Szechwan Shrimp recipe, and it was even better than I remembered! Lisa said it was the best Szechwan Shrimp she’s ever had:
Tonight I’ll be making another new meal. I’ve got some flounder, but I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it yet. I’m thinking either Mediterranean or perhaps going spicy Cajun. Whatever I do, I’ll be sure to post the recipe tomorrow morning.
I’m going to go get 10 miles in on the bike before work. Enjoy your day!
