Leg day & mountain biking; Might have time today to see doc about wrist.

It’s leg day! I’ve always loved training legs, but ever since I took up mountain biking leg day has become more important to me than ever; I know that the improvements I make are going to directly benefit me out on the trails. If you’ve never been mountain biking, you probably wouldn’t believe just how demanding a sport it is. Even after years and years of HIIT cardio training and lifting weights, my cardio, strength and muscle endurance are all put to the test when I’m mountain biking. A tough mountain bike run always leaves me exhausted and with my legs feeling like rubber. It really is a fantastic sport, and I wish I’d discovered it years ago. If you think you might like mountain biking, I urge you to give it a shot! Most bike shops rent bikes and can help you find nearby trails to ride.

I may have time today to go see my doctor about my right wrist. Hopefully he’ll be available today, because the rest of the week is looking pretty busy. I’m a little worried about what we’re going to find, and that I may not be able to train upper body for an extended period of time. I’ll keep you guys posted.
