Diet and training have been good despite the long hours I’m putting in.

Looks like I’m going to have to work all weekend, but I don’t really mind. I’m working on a project that I was dreading, but I’ve made such a huge amount of unexpected progress that I’m actually finding it pretty enjoyable.

Yesterday I didn’t do any cardio at all. I wanted to go for a morning bike ride, but one thing lead to another and the next thing I knew it was the middle of the day. The past few weeks I’ve been extremely busy with work (I’ve been working 70+ hours per week), but I’ve only missed one workout and one cardio session. I’m proud of myself for maintaining my training even while putting in long hours. My diet has been pretty good, but I’ve had a couple extra cheat meals here and there. Still, I’ve manged to keep my body fat in the low 7% range, and that’s something I’m obviously very happy about.

I think I’ve got about another week or two of this crazy schedule, and then things should relax a bit. I’m seriously thinking about taking a week off from everything when things finally calm down.

Unfortunately I’ve been so busy that I’ve not had any time to work on the new JSF web site and forum upgrades, but those projects are still at the top of my “to do” list. I’ll keep you all posted.

I’ve got to get back to it. Happy Friday!
