Productive weekend; Today’s leg workout; Incredible BLT!

I had an incredibly productive weekend, and I even completed my project early enough to relax yesterday afternoon with a couple of movies and some poker. I’m glad I had a little time to decompress, because this is going to be another really busy work week for me. I’ve decided that I’m going to attempt to take next week off from everything (work, this blog, training – everything). I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it happen, but I’m going to try.

Today is leg day, and I missed last week’s leg workout so it’s important that I have a good workout. As I’d planned to do last week, today I’m going to break away from the high rep muscle endurance leg training I’ve been doing for the past month and bang out a a low volume, very heavy compound training session.

Last night for dinner I had something that I’ve not had in a long, long time (like maybe 8 years): a BLT! 3 slices of thick Applewood smoked bacon on toasted wholegrain bread, fresh lettuce, basil and tomato drizzled with a little olive oil, some cracked pepper, a touch of salt and a little bit of garlic mayo. Wow!!!

Alright, I’ve got to get to work. Lots to do this week, especially if I have any chance of taking next week off. Train hard!
