The weather was so pleasant yesterday that I sat out back with my laptop and worked from there part of the day. The morning was clear and cool, and even after it warmed up to 90 degrees F there was a nice breeze blowing and no humidity. The lack of humidity is a welcome change. Normally in the mornings the windows are covered in condensation, but this morning when I woke up they were dry and I could actually see outside. I wish the weather could be like this every day!

Man, I’m getting old. I just realized that for the past two days I’ve sat down at my keyboard and started rambling about the weather. This is something I’ve made fun of my mom for countless times. I’m definitely going to be getting a phone call this morning.

Yesterday was a very active day: I went for a bike ride in the morning, and I also had an afternoon weight training workout (pecs/delts/triceps). As I mentioned on Monday, my workouts have not been great lately and I’m badly in need of a break. I’ll be taking a week off in early October, so in the meantime I’m backing off from heavy lifting and reducing the intensity a bit. Yesterday’s workout was not bad, but I can tell that I’m not firing on all cylinders. I think a week off is going to do wonders for me.

It’s a little warmer than it was yesterday morning, but the weather is still incredible. I’m out of here – bike ride! By the way, I’ve opened the October “100 Challenge” for entry. Registration information is below…
