One more week until my vacation; Looking forward to training today.
An other Friday, and another week closer to my vacation! This has been an extremely productive week, and the big project I rolled out almost two weeks ago has not experienced a single problem – not even a minor one! Considering the sheer number of things that could have gone wrong, I’m still slightly in shock. If I were my boss, I’d give me a raise for sure. Hey boss, I don’t know if you read my blog, but if you see this I think an increase is in order. Give me a call today with the good news. Thanks.
Getting back to reality, I am actually sort of looking forward to working out this afternoon. Lately I’ve had to force myself to train, but I think backing off on the weights and intensity a little bit has helped. I’m not feeling as burnt out as I was a week or so ago. Still, I can’t wait for my vacation, which starts one week from today. During my time off I won’t be training and my diet will be relaxed …and by “relaxed” I mean I’ll be eating like a pig! I am also planning to do quite a bit of bike riding, including a return to the dirt trails. I’ll be posting some pictures and trail video to my Facebook account while I’m off, so feel free to add me as a friend if you want to check any of it out. Hopefully there will be no blood involved, and no trips to the emergency room this time.
