Feeling better this morning; Breakfast and bike ride.

I sure was feeling out of sorts yesterday. In the morning I felt groggy and un-motivated, and as the day wore on my mood turned fairly sour and I was feeling uncharacteristically negative about pretty much everything. When I went to bed last night I wasn’t feeling too well, and I thought I might be coming down with something. Thankfully I had a very solid night of sleep last night, and I think that’s all I needed because this morning I’m feeling like my usual self. I’m glad I’m not getting sick; it’s been years since I’ve been ill, and that’s a streak I’d prefer to keep alive as long as possible!

Lisa thought she was going to have to get up at 5:00 AM and go out of town all day on business, but yesterday night she got a call letting her know she was off the hook. Needless to say, she’s in a fantastic mood this morning! I’m really happy for her, I know she was not looking forward to the trip, especially because she’s been putting in very long hours the past few days. I think I’m going to go make us some breakfast and then go for a nice long bike ride with her.

Just five more days until my vacation! I’m counting the hours… I really need a break.
