I have been one lazy son of a gun this week. It’s Thursday, and so far this week about the only physical activity I’ve performed is a lazy bike ride – that’s it! It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day today, so after I finish this blog entry up I’m going to lace up and get outside for a fairly intense bike ride. I can’t wait for things to start cooling off a bit! Riding my bike when the temperature is in the 50s and 60s is one of my favorite things to do. I’m going to be putting a lot of miles on the bike this fall and winter!

I’m very excited about my long-overdue return to the dirt trails. I’m hoping for a little cold snap while I’m on vacation next week; that would make riding the trails even more enjoyable! It’s been about 9 months since I’ve done anything that even remotely resembles technical riding, so my plan is to not be overly-aggressive while I shake the rust off. I want to return home tired, but in one piece for a change. A lot has changed on the trails since the last time I was out there, and so I will probably post HD video of at least one complete run (along with any other highlights). Any video or pictures I take while I’m on vacation will be posted on my Facebook and/or YouTube accounts.
