My chest/delts/triceps workout yesterday was a good one, but my strength is still way down from my break. My leg strength didn’t suffer much, but as I mentioned yesterday that’s because I’ve been doing a heck of a lot of mountain biking. I’m really not surprised that my upper body has lost some strength (and size); two weeks off combined with a relaxed diet and hundreds of miles of biking will do that to ya.
Last night I made a simple, but really tasty, new chicken recipe. I’m really pressed for time right now, so unfortunately I’m not going to be able to get the full recipe up this morning. Basically it was chicken breasts grilled after marinating in soy sauce, honey, lime, vegetable oil and chopped garlic. The taste was incredible, and prep time was like 5 minutes. Not a bad trade!
I’ve really got to wrap this up and get my bike ride in before it gets much later. It’s going to be a very busy day!
