I sure am glad I got my workout done first thing in the morning yesterday. Yesterday afternoon there was a computer/network emergency at work that required my full attention. I would have had no choice but to skip my afternoon workout (or, at best, postpone it). I’m definitely feeling the new AM workout schedule. It’s here to stay.

That computer issue at work had me pretty frustrated last night, and I woke up this morning expecting a long, stressful day. I guess my brain rebooted while I was sleeping, because the solution presented itself before I finished my first cup of coffee. What a relief! Now instead of spending my morning downtown in a noisy datacenter I’ll be saying hello to the deer while I cruise through the woods on my bike.

It’s been very hot here this week with highs in the 90s. Not very fall-like weather, even for Orlando. Thankfully this afternoon there’s a cold front (OK, not a cold front – how about cool front?) coming through this afternoon. The highs over the weekend are expected to be around 80 degrees, which is really just ridiculously perfect trail riding weather. As I mentioned yesterday it’s not rained here in more than a month, so hopefully the cool front will bring a little rain with it. The trails are awfully sandy right now.

I’m going to go enjoy my unexpected morning off and hit the trails. I hope you have a fantastic day!
