Unexpected JSF web server downtime this morning; Bunny hops hurting shoulder.

I had to reboot the JSF web server this morning (ending a very respectable 638 day uptime!) This reboot resulted in some expected downtime while the filesystem was forced-checked, but also some unexpected downtime which required me to drive down town to correct. Sorry about that!

I never did go for a bike ride yesterday morning. I made what I thought was going to be a quick phone call to resolve a VMWare licensing issue, and wound up being on the phone for more than four hours. I thought about going for a ride in the afternoon, but wussed out when I stepped outside into the terrible heat and humidity. I felt like a lazy bum the rest of the day for skipping the ride.

I think I’m going to have to stop doing the practice bunny hops. My right shoulder, which has not bothered me in years, is hurting a bit right now. I’m positive that this is due to the bunny hop practice I was doing earlier in the week. I can hop out on the trails here and there with no ill effect, but I guess doing them over and over while striving for maximum height is taxing my bum wing.

The server problem prevented me from getting my workout in this morning, so today’s workout (back/traps/biceps) is going to be this afternoon. Bummer, I was looking forward to lifting this morning.

Happy Friday!
