Incredible ride yesterday (pic); Killed my legs with volume this morning.

Yesterday’s bike ride was a 20-mile off-road affair over at Wekiwa State Park. I rode the 2.7 mile technical trail twice (I posted a couple of videos of this section of trail here), and on the second run I beat my best time by 45 seconds! Turkey for breakfast, followed by a long hard bike ride.

It’s 48 degrees and sunny this morning – awesome trail riding weather! I’m not sure where I’m going to ride yet, but wherever I go I’m definitely going to hit it hard: I need to burn off some of the zillion calories I’ve eaten over the past few days. Fun day yesterday (still full!); Tightening diet up in December.

I hope you all had a fun and safe Thanksgiving! We had a lot of fun, and dinner turned out incredible! Not only did all the food taste great, but the timing of all the dishes was spot-on (the hardest part of cooking a big dinner, IMO). Happy Thanksgiving!

I just finished up an excellent workout, and I plan to spend the rest of the day eating a lot of food! Moving today’s workout to tomorrow; New AtLarge product: BCAA+!

I decided to postpone this morning’s usual workout (chest/delts/triceps) until tomorrow morning. I love working out on Thanksgiving morning, and I’ll certainly be getting plenty of post-workout nutrition all day long. A couple of videos from Sunday’s ride: my favorite trail at Wekiwa.

Yesterday I talked in some amount of detail about my favorite section of trail at Wekiva State Park. I’ve never posted video footage of this particular trail before, so last night I took the footage from Sunday’s ride and assembled a video (actually two videos). Great ride yesterday – details on my favorite section of trail @ Wekiwa.

Even though I was tired yesterday morning I saddled up and rode over to Wekiwa state park. I wound up putting in just shy of 20 miles, and half of that distance was off-road. The paved riding was a nice warm-up before I got to the meat of the ride. Once I got to the forest the first thing I did was ride north from Marker 10 to Marker 18. Didn’t sleep well, riding today anyway; Hydration pak cleaning tip.
