If you’re reading this (hint: you are), then the JSF servers have safely arrived and been installed in the new Network Operations Center. Whew! It’s obviously been a very stressful 24 hours for me.
There is still a lot of work related to the move that needs to be done over the next couple of days, but I’ve planned things so that none of the work will be service-affecting. That said, things don’t always go 100% according to plan; it may become necessary for me to briefly take down one or more of the JSF sites over the next couple of days as I complete the move, so be aware of that. If I have to take any of the sites down for more than 5 minutes or so, I’ll make an announcement on Facebook and Twitter.
Our new ultra-modern NOC provides us with increased redundancy, vastly improved reliability and virtually limitless bandwidth availability. Thanks to everyone for your patience over the past 24 hours while we made this important move.
