Bah, I woke up to more Internet issues this morning. This router that my service provider forces us to use with their Road Runner Lightning service is absolute garbage (Motorola SBG6580, if you’re interested). I’m going to disable wireless on the Motorola and put it in bridge mode so I can use my own wireless-n router and see if that helps. If I continue to have problems I’m going back to Turbo. 40 Mbps is nice, but not if it’s unreliable.
I’ve got a lot to do this weekend, so I’m only going hit the trails once – probably tomorrow. I’m going to get back to attempting to fix these Internet issues. I’ll probably grab my bike this afternoon and work on some basic skills stuff like skinnies, wheelies and manuals.
I’ve got so much vacation time that I’ll probably never get to use it all before it resets in August. I’m going to try to take some time off in late December a week or so over spring break in March and another week in early summer. I’ll time my December vacation so I’m back on January 3, 2011 – the first day of my 2011 cut! I’ve been so sloppy with my diet lately (and will continue to be over the holidays) that I’m going to have my work cut out for me. Again, my goal is to cut down to 7% body fat. I will probably be lighter than I’ve been in many years because my goals have moved far away from hypertrophy and more towards mountain biking.
I’m going to eat and get back to work. Have a great Saturday!
