I woke up this morning hoping that the forecasts were wrong, or at least that the rain would be delayed long enough for me to get a good morning ride in. Nope. It’s not raining yet, but the radar shows it’s coming fast – and there’s a lot of it. I’m pretty bummed, as I’m really in the mood to ride this morning.

A couple of the guys I rode with out at Soldiers Creek last month invited me to ride tomorrow at a place called Graham Swamp, which is over near Flagler Beach. I’ve never been to this trail before, but I’ve heard all about it. There are lots of logs, bridges, rock gardens, jumps, 4-5 foot drops, switchbacks and some very steep climbs and descents. Just check out this short video:

I really want to go, but the round trip is more than 150 miles and I have too much to do tomorrow to take the whole day off to go riding. Maybe after Christmas while I’m vacation…

Since today is rainy I’m going to continue working on the new JSF web site and take care of a few indoor projects around the house. Maybe catch a movie. Hope your Saturday is a good one!
