Broiled Salmon with Mustard & Dill

Broiled Salmon with Mustard and Dill.

Broiled Salmon with Mustard and Dill.

Description

I ate this recipe a couple times per week during my initial cut and never got tired of it. Excellent!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
  • Juice from 1/2 medium lemon
  • 1/8 -1/4 tsp red pepper
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 7-Oz salmon steaks

Instructions

  • Preheat broiler.
  • Place first 6 ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
  • Place salted (optional) salmon steaks on lightly greased (I use Pam cooking spray) broiler pan.
  • Brush top and sides of salmon steaks with the sauce.
  • Place salmon under the broiler, about 3 inches or so from heat source.
  • Broil until top is done almost to your liking, about 4-7 minutes.
  • Close oven door, turn off broiler, reduce heat to 425 and complete cooking, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh dill and lemon and serve.

  1. Great recipe! Made it today for lunch and it turned out awesome. The Dill gives it a different flavor and goes well with Salmon. I’ll definitely be making this again as I continue my fat loss phase.

  2. Made this today for lunch. I didn’t have fresh dill and used dried dill but it was still excellent and full of flavor. I roasted some asparagus and it went great with the Salmon.
