Turkey Burger


Low fat, tasty turkey burgers!


  • 1 package (about 1.25 lbs) 93% lean ground turkey
  • 6 unseasoned Rye Krisp crackers & 1/4 cup oatmeal, ground up in a food processor
  • 1/4 nonfat milk
  • 1/4 cup egg substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons organic Dijon mustard
  • Additional ΒΌ cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • One whole wheat sandwich thin per burger


  • Combine all ingredients (except sandwich thins) and make 4 patties
  • Cook 8 minutes in a George Foreman Grill


Yield: 4 servings. Add tomato or your favorite garnish. I add one slice low-fat cheese, one slice of tomato, and mustard.
