Got my power back!

I’ve got my lower back MRI this morning, and I still have to get my cardio done (45 minutes fasted LISS), eat and shower. I don’t have a lot of time to write, but I wanted to mention that my leg workout yesterday was outstanding! It was easily my best workout in almost a month. I felt strong and energetic, and I really enjoyed the workout. I was feeling so good when I entered my gym that I decided to add weight to every exercise and see what happened. I wound up setting two new 2011 personal records! Man… I can’t describe how incredible I felt when I finished the workout. After several weeks of walking around in a fog with my strength waning, the difference was night and day. I am so glad I did the refeed last week–I only wish I’d just went with my gut instinct and not waited so long to do it. I won’t make that mistake again.

I really have to wrap this up and get my stuff done so I’m not late for my MRI. I don’t know when I’ll have the results, but as soon as I do I’ll post an update about my lower back. On a related note, I did feel some pain in my lower back yesterday while doing the Bulgarian Split Squats, but that was just lingering pain from when I fell on the stairs the other day. 😆
