Typically the week before my cut starts I like to relax, eat whatever I want and unwind. This ritual really helps me prepare for the months of strict dieting and training that are soon to follow. With last week’s vacation pretty much a total bust thanks to the stomach flu I battled all week long, I definitely feel let down.
Between the sick days I have accumulated (about 4 billion) and the holiday days (Christmas and New Year), I actually used only one vacation day last week. So I’ve decided that I’m going to take this week off and do all the things I wanted to do last week (mainly eat, mountain bike and relax).
I know many of you have already started your pre-summer fat loss programs, and the last thing you want to read about is me stuffing my face and playing Xbox. I’m going to take this week off from updating this blog, and when I return on Monday, January 9th I’ll be fired up and ready to get down to work.
