I don’t know what the deal is, but for the past couple of weeks I have been waking up between 4:45 AM and 5:00 AM every single morning. Normally I get up at 6:00 AM without fail (and I have for many years), so this new phenomenon is a little weird. I’ve been going to bed about my usual time–generally around 9:00 PM–and I’ve been sleeping very well. I feel well-rested and have plenty of energy, so I guess rising so early is not that big of a deal. It’s just interesting that after all these years of getting up at 6:00 AM with high consistency that suddenly I’m waking up so early now. I will say this, I’m enjoying the added hour quite a bit–I tend to be very productive in the morning.
This morning started off OK, but after some server upgrades there were some pretty serious issues that affected the JSF Forums and JSF BodyShop. Thankfully I got all of that sorted, but it couldn’t have come on a worse day (the 1st of the month is always an extremely busy day for me). That extra hour I mentioned above sure is coming in handy this morning!
Unfortunately there is no Transformation Spotlight of the Month for February. We had three nominations for this month: one of the nominees didn’t get back to me, and two of them declined because they are still working towards their goals and didn’t feel they were ready. If the TSMs are something you enjoy and you would like to see them continue, then I need your help! If you or someone you know has made a successful transformation, then please let me know about it! The point of the JSF Transformation Spotlight of the Month is to recognize and celebrate hard work, and to inspire others. There is absolutely nothing wrong with nominating yourself, and I encourage anyone who has been successful to contact me!
I’d better get back to work, I’m buried. 🙁
